Wednesday Stamper - Bella Italia Challenge

Here is my entry for this week's challenge at Wednesday Stamper - Bella Italia. The lovely woman's face is from a larger stamp from Stamington & Company and the Italian words are from Hero Arts. I used walnut ink to stain the background. Thanks for visiting!

Oriental Canvas and ATC

It was a happy surprise to find that the canvas I recently made for my niece fit this week's challenge at Mixed Media Monday. I've also included an ATC that I made for a swap with my online friend Annette. Thanks for looking.

Wednesday Stamper - Icon challenge

With a couple of days to spare here is my interpretation for the icon challenge at Wednesday Stamper. For those of you who visit my blog, I have to admit that I am embarrassed to say that I still use dial-up internet. Please know that I am also looking at your fabulous challenge posts but due to the slooooooow speed of my connection I don't have time to comment on as many as I'd like. Thanks again for looking!

Wednesday Stamper - Green challenge

Well, I've been away for quite a while due to computer and personal issues but I am hoping that I can start participating in some challenges again. This happens to be a birthday card that I made for my good online friend Annette but also fits for the Wednesday Stamper green challenge. Thanks for looking!

Dress Form Swap

I've been busy for the last month or so working on a dress form swap with my friend Annette http://nettiatkins.blogspot.com/

Here are several pictures of the beautiful dress form Annette sent me. I'm lucky to have someone to swap with that does such lovely work. I am always so pleased with everything she sends me.

Sometimes we set a theme or color when we do a swap but this time we each sent the other a few pictures of the room that would be home to our dress form. Annette has done a wonderful job of picking up the colors and feel from the pictures I sent!

Wednesday Stamper - Twinchies

This is my entry for the Wednesday Stamper challenge this week, which is 'Twinchies'. I can see how these might become addictive. I'm having a hard time imagining working with an inchie but now I have to give it a try. The backgrounds were done with alcohol inks. The stamps are the um sheet #26 Postoids from Cherry Pie which I ordered from Stamp Diva whose link is listed under my favorite places to shop online. Thanks for looking.

Wednesday Stamper's - Sisters

This is my entry for Wednesday Stamper this week, the theme of which is 'Sisters'. I've just gotten this in under the wire this time. The picture I used is of two of my older sisters. I love this picture of them and the way my sister Sandy (the one on the right who has since passed away) has her arm around my other sister Bona. They both look so sweet!

Theme Thursday - Celebrate Girls

This is for this week's Theme Thursday Celebrate Girls challenge http://themethursday.wordpress.com/. I'm still a stamper at heart but really would like to start incorporating other images into my work. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on where to find great images I'd appreciate the feedback.

Wednesday Stamper Insect Challenge

This is for this week's Wednesday Stamper theme of insects. I used a template from Stampington & Company to make the Queen Bee dressmaker form.
